2022 TRACK & FIELD SEASON INFORMATIONI am excited for our 15th year as a coach for the dominant and successful Cupertino Middle School Track & Field Team. This year's season runs from 4/11 to 5/18. Mr. Harting and Mr. Sickler will be co-head coaching the Track and Field Team. We are expecting a huge team this year like we have every year. This a NO CUT sport meaning that you will not be cut from the team. The only events that you have to try out for is the 4x100 and 4x400 meter relay races. Below are the coaches for the various events:

Handout #1- General Information Handout #2- Rules and Expectations How To RegisterAll the information you will need in order to register for Cross Country is found on this Valley Athletic League link. Scroll to the bottom where it says "Please click the enroll button to sign your child up for the Cross Country team." Please make any type of donation you can to the program because it helps to fund it moving forward and it is a really integral part of the After School Sports Program. Any donation will be greatly appreciated.
Parent FormSince the team is typically so large, the most effective way to communicate with the team is via a group email. It is mandatory for parents/guardians to fill out this FORM for their athlete(s). Please take a couple minutes to do so.

We have 4 League Meets- 2 are away and 2 are home. We then have 2 days of League Finals to finish the season. It is each athlete's responsibility to get a carpool to the away meets.
Meet Order of EventsTo run the meets efficiently and as quickly as possible, there is a specific order of both the Running and Field Events. Click HERE to see the order of the events for each Track Meet. Any time that is listed is APPROXIMATE. Every meet is managed and run differently- there are times when meets are way ahead or behind schedule.
Google ClassroomMy primary source of communication with the Athletes is going to be through Google Classroom. I will be giving the athletes the code the first week of practice, but, just in case, here is the code they use to get in: etopk3f
Meet ResultsMeet results will be posted in Google Classroom as well as sent to all parent emails.
