Google Classroom
Most of the day to day communication, assignment postings, announcements, and most pics and videos will be done via Google Classroom. Students will be given the codes to their PE Google Classroom and parents will be sent an invite to join. This is the most important tool that I use in class to provide information to students.
CMS After School Sports CoachingI am the head coach for Cross Country (Season 1) and Track and Field (Season 5). I have been coaching both of these sports every year that I have been at CMS and love it. I start the year with Cross Country and finish the year with Track & Field.

Flipped Learning EnvironmentIn an effort to continually evolved my curriculum to enhance student learning, I adopted the Flipped Learning Environment approach to my curriculum. When you Flip curriculum, you provide differentiated curriculum and resources to students ahead of time, often times online, to allow students time to preview what they will be learning. Most of the written homework assignments that I give require students to review presentation materials, watch videos, practice movements to prepare for an upcoming unit or learning objective. This allows me the opportunity to get more creative, innovate and deeper in critical thinking concepts in the classroom as well as set up a student-centered learning environment.
