LINE DANCE

A line dance is a choreographed dance with a repeated sequence of steps in which a group of people dance in one or more lines or rows, all facing either each other[citation needed] or in the same direction, and executing the steps at the same time. Unlike circle dancing, line dancers are not in physical contact with each other. Source:  Click HERE.

What You Need to Know

You will be assessed on your ability to perform a choreographed routine with a small group while dancing in a line with proper footwork, personality and style.

DANCE OFF INFORMATION
​Students will be placed in Dance Squads.  Each Dance Squad will draw a new line dance they have to learn from a hat.  They will perform this Dance on the final day of the unit.

In addition to the 6 Line Dances above, your Dance Squad will also learn and additional "Dance Off" Dance that you will perform as your final performance for the unit.  There are 4 choices.  Each Squad will randomly select one of these from a hat:
  • The Hustle
  • The Git Up
  • The Cowboy Hustle
  • Right Foot, Left Foot
