SWING DANCEThis is a super exciting unit. If you do not have any experience with dance and/or are intimidated by having to dance and perform with a partner, then this unit will change that. You will learn basic West Coast Swing Dance moves with a partner, piece together a routine and perform it for the class. A ton of learning materials have been provided for you to help facilitate a successful learning experience and an amazing dance performance.

What You Need to KnowYou will be assessed on your ability to perform a choreographed routine with one or more partners. The Introductory Presentation in the Unit Materials breaks this entire unit down, including- Learning Targets, dance step cues, key terminology, assessment information, how to choose partners, etc.
